What are the traditional pressure-sensitive adhesives
Traditional pressure-sensitive adhesives include solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesives, water-based pressure-sensitive adhesives, emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesives, and reactive pressure-sensitive adhesives.
- 1. Solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesive: This adhesive has high bond strength and is suitable for a variety of different pressure-sensitive substrates, but it is not environmentally friendly and easy to pollute the environment. For example, polypropylene pressure-sensitive adhesive, polyurethane pressure-sensitive adhesive, neoprene pressure-sensitive adhesive, and so on.
- Water-based pressure-sensitive adhesive: This adhesive is safe and non-toxic, and has little impact on the environment, but the initial adhesion is poor. For example, natural rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive, neoprene rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive, acrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive, and so on.
- Emulsion pressure sensitive adhesive: This adhesive is green and environmentally friendly, but water resistance and thermal stability may be poor. For example, polypropylene pressure-sensitive adhesive, polyurethane pressure-sensitive adhesive, styrene-butadiene rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive, and so on.
- Reactive pressure sensitive adhesive: This adhesive does not contain solvents, environmental protection and initial adhesion and bond strength is good, but the price is higher. For example, acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, polyurethane pressure-sensitive adhesive, epoxy resin pressure-sensitive adhesive, and so on.
The pressure-sensitive adhesives listed above are for reference only, and the specific choice of pressure-sensitive adhesives should be determined according to the actual application scenario and needs.
