High-viscosity Pressure-sensitive Adhesive FR-921
The existing packaging printing is a label base composed of a practical layer, a pressure-sensitive adhesive, and a carrier.
Prior art ink labels for packaging are composed of a practical layer material, a pressure-sensitive adhesive, and a carrier. A label base consisting of a utility layer, a pressure-sensitive adhesive, and a carrier is typically laminated and then printed using a number of non-photographic printing methods. The printed label is usually protected with a laminated material or protective coating over it.
The high-speed labeling equipment is applied to the packaging of finished labels composed of the protective layer, printed information, a practical layer, pressure-sensitive adhesive, and carrier material. In the process of converting pressure-sensitive roll paper material into the label, the pressure-sensitive roll paper material consisting of utility layer, carrier, pressure sensitive, and release coating is printed in a center guided device, that is, the label roll paper material does not contact the machine frame, guide plate or spacer wedge. For example, repeated edge contact between the pressure-sensitive roll paper material and the machine guide will likely result in the transfer of adhesive from the pressure-sensitive roll paper to the machine guide, resulting in the accumulation of unwanted adhesive on the edge guide.
In order for the sensitive silver halide imaging layer to be used for pressure-sensitive labels, the exposure of pressure-sensitive adhesives on the edge of the sensitive silver halide roll paper material must be significantly reduced, thereby eliminating the transfer of pressure-sensitive adhesives to edge guide devices common in photographic printing machines. The transfer of the pressure-sensitive adhesive into the photographic printer of the edge guide paper can result in loss of printing efficiency, printing defects, and cracking of the roll paper.
In the production of colored paper, the material is cut lengthwise to the appropriate size for consumer use before it is exposed. Form photographic paper on long and wide sheets, then roll them into larger web pages. These web pages must be cut lengthwise to the proper width in a very precise manner. It is important to do the slitter without damaging the sensitive material on the paper base.
Furthermore, it is important that the slitter is performed without the production of undesired amounts of contaminated dust on the surface of the developed photo. The usual paper cutter used for cutting photographic paper is a round paper cutter arranged on a shaft, in which paper is fed between the axes. Place round paper knives together so that they can be lightly touched and overlapped at the edges. Usually, one of the box cutters with a square edge is called a concave box cutter, and the other edge knife sharpened at some angles is called a convex box cutter. As a result, many strips can be cut simultaneously from wide paper.
Recently, our company launched a new product FR-921, characterized by high solid content, for customers to improve the coating speed, this product is mainly used for frozen packaging labels.
FR-921 is a high-viscosity pressure-sensitive adhesive based on the latest polymerization process and designed with various special monomers. It has good leveling properties, high peeling strength, high initial adhesion, and high solid content.
Moreover, this product is also an ideal environment-friendly product, with clear film formation, transparency, and good weather resistance. It has excellent bonding performance on paper, metal, plastic (such as ABS, PVC, PC, FET, PMMA, etc.), and other materials, especially difficult-to-stick substrates. Widely used in high-end products in the field of self-adhesive, suitable for all kinds of tape production, to meet the requirements of high-speed coating.
